C.R.Mackintosh designs - Introduction
The following three designs are available, all inspired by the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
There are matching hats available for both "Mains Street" and "Willow Tea Rooms".
While the colours shown in the examples work well, customers are welcome to choose any three contrast colours for the section featuring the small squares and embroidered areas. Please contact me for further details.
Mains Street
For a while, Charles and Margaret Mackintosh made their home in a flat in Mains Street, Glasgow.
Details from the furniture there, have been adapted to create this design.
Mackintosh
Various Mackintosh elements from different sources are brought together for this design.
Willow Tea Rooms
This design takes its inspiration from the glass panels and chairs from the famous "Willow Tea Rooms" in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street. Sauchiehall means 'alley of the willows'.
